Welcome to VERSE to VOICE! – Canada’s premiere singer songwriter Event & Competition.
Truth is…this is so much more than a competition. It’s a place to network, meet industry pro’s, connect with other songwriters, participate in career growing events and workshops…and yes, maybe win some amazing prizes too!
The GOAL – to support up and coming amateur talented singer/songwriters, showcase them, provide opportunities, and cultivate a Canadian environment for you to learn where to take this next – and HOW!

Phase 2 - Submit (MID May!)
When Submissions open…don’t delay. You’ll have til Jun 27th!
Video must be a live recording of YOU singing the song you will be competing with. Song must be the same song throughout competition. Video must have been recorded within the last 12 months. Videos do NOT need to be professional quality…but be sure we can see you and hear you clearly.

Phase 3 Follow/ Share
FOLLOW ALL OUR SOCIALS!
The first phases of the event will be the ONLINE quarter finals, spotlights, interviews etc… which will take place mainly on our Instagram, with highlights on Tik Tok, Youtube and Facebook pages.
SHARE!!! – Tell your friends to follow us there!…this is an ongoing experience…they don’t want to miss a thing!!!
Contestants will be chosen partially from our team of preliminary Judges, and partially by public comments/likes. Those chosen will move on the Semi-finals (live shows). (Note: rules are in place to prevent popularity contest. We definitely want to see who people want to see live…but not just friends, we want to hear from music lovers from all over! *Adjudication will be 2/3 judges- 1/3 audience.
Phase 4 - Live Shows
Contestants chosen to move on to Phase 4 will proceed to the live shows/competition on the weekend of
Aug 16th & 17th, 2025.
Competition will take place at Port Credit Buskerfest.
